'Capture a place, Capture a moment, Capture life !' I focus these days on wildlife, birds, nature, and landscape and travel photography. I started on my journey photographing many years ago using my folks Fuji 35MM film camera. I got into digital photography when I was traveling in Singapore and I purchased a very small Casio Exilim which had only a 1.3-megapixel, fixed 37 mm equiv. lens and a little bigger than a credit card! I was hooked ever since! Now retired, I'm able to spend more time to my photography ! Note: Each image may be purchased as a canvas print, framed print, metal print, and more! About Michael Lowell
I was very fortunate to travel the world as part of my job, to many far-off places that gave me a sense of how fortunate I was to visit these places and how small the world is when we stop and see all walks of life and people around this planet.
I started on my journey photographing many years ago using my folks Fuji 35MM film camera. I got into digital photography when I was traveling in Singapore and I purchased the new and very small Casio Exilim which had only a 1.3-megapixel, fixed 37 mm equiv. lens, internal RAM and SD/MMC storage slot, 1.6 TFT LCD and could take still images and movie clips. It was only 86 g (3 oz) and a little bigger than a credit card! I was hooked ever since!
Now retired, I can dedicate more time to my photography. Currently I use a Nikon D750 DSLR and a DX D3200 DSLR with multiple FX/DX (Nikon, Tamron, and Nikkor) lenses for my journeys. I use a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX10V 18.2 MP digital camera for discrete street scenes and rougher terrain areas.
I focus these days on wildlife, birds, nature, and landscape and travel photography.
